Something big is coming to the Big Top this summer – and it’s nothing like you’ve ever experienced at an amusement park before. Introducing Dream Circus. This brand-new immersive attraction will become the latest and greatest addition to Luna Park Sydney and will be unveiled just in time for the new year on December 22, 2023.
You can think of Dream Circus as a futuristic cross between a circus, a hologram and a 3D light show. Audiences of all ages will be swept into a fully immersive, 45-minute journey that’s brought to life via cutting-edge technology. Think floor-to-ceiling screens with magical holographic projections that wrap around the entire 3000-square-metre space. Then add in blockbuster surround sound that’s spatially mapped around the room, and you’ll be whisked away into another world.
Dream Circus may be a world-first attraction, but it was created right here in Sydney by the city’s finest creatives, including visuals by Artists in Motion (Sydney Opera House Immersive Tours, Vivid – Songlines), video technology by TDC (Vivid, Sydney Festival, The Voice) and surround sound by Auditoria (Sydney Opera House and ANZ Stadium).
More than 50,000 visitors are expected to enter the multi-layered realm of Dream Circus within its first summer, so you know it’s going to be big! You can be one of the first to experience this grand spectacle of dreams when it opens on December 22, 2023. Tickets are on sale now and are $35 for children and $45 for adults, with sessions running daily, day and night.
Don’t worry if you can’t get to Luna Park over the summer, as Sydney's immersive Big Top is here to stay, with Dream Circus being only the beginning.
