A farm apartment in the rural village of Peak Forest
Looking to visit the Peak District this winter? You're in for a treat with this fantastic Airbnb. I had the pleasure of staying here during Easter weekend in 2023, and I have to say, it was fab. The host went above and beyond, welcoming us with fresh bread, a selection of teas, tasty jams, and even a bottle of prosecco.
Mornings were bliss as we sipped coffee at the little outdoor table, taking in the lovely view of sheep and adorable lambs on the farm. And the location couldn't have been more ideal, with fantastic hiking trails and local pubs right at our doorstep.
Although I didn't experience it during the colder months, this property is certainly winter-ready. It features a wood burner in the living room and a private utility room with a convenient dog wash area, perfect for cleaning up after a muddy winter walk.
Beds? One bed. Sleeps up to two guests.
The space: The perfect spot to unwind and explore the best of the Peak District.

Time Out Tip: Chatsworth House is a must-visit during the festive season, offering an interactive light and sound trail in the gardens, a Father Christmas workshop in the house, and over 100 stalls at the estate's festive market.
