Roast Beef and Lobster Rolls

You’ll be cussing at the moon when forced to pick between the critically lauded lobster rolls and mouthwatering roast beef sandwiches at Cusser’s, which began as a street-side takeout window at the Back Bay’s upscale Mooncusser Fish House. The kitchen is inspired by the popular roast beef and seafood shacks that dot the North Shore, and their gourmet interpretations of comforting classics will forever change the way you view sliced beef on a bun; here, the nourishing sammies are made with rare, all-natural wagyu and decadent toppings. Don't forget to round out your order with crispy onion rings or hand-cut fries.

Modern sushi

James Beard Award-winning chef Tim Cushman and his wife, advanced sake Professional Nancy Cushman, are the talents behind one of Boston’s most decorated, and expensive, restaurants: o ya. With gogo ya at Time Out Market Boston, the Cushmans have democratized their approach to world-class, Japanese-inspired fare by offering affordable dishes full of technique and flavor. Crispy nori tacos—filled with everything from grilled Maine lobster and mushroom tempura to torched salmon teriyaki—are the main draw, but if you’re looking for a complete meal opt for a bento bowl filled with torched sashimi or spicy local tofu, served on your choice of local greens, seven-grain brown rice or sushi rice.

Lala’s Neapolitan-ish Pizza was founded in early-2021 during the height of the pandemic when Boston bars and breweries were required to sell food alongside alcohol and needed delicious options. Founder Conor Cudahy had been working on a dough recipe for years and decided to open a mobile kitchen to finally offer the people of Boston their tasty pizzas. While we know that you will love any of their creations, we hear that the “Molly's Vice”, made with mozzarella, oregano, shiitake mushroom, bacon and red onion is the house specialty!

There’s a lot to say about Say Coffee Co. Founded by Yeanie Bach and Phi Pham—the duo behind Phinista in The Fenway and Banh Mi Oi in West Roxbury—this spot specializes in coffee, tea and crepes, all elevated with a touch of Vietnamese flair.

Guests can feast upon its selection of sweet and savory crepes, whose toppings range from the silky simplicity of straight-up Nutella to the classic American breakfast combo of bacon, egg and cheese. While these fully loaded French pancakes are sure to satisfy, they are not to be upstaged by Say’s beverage offerings. Signature drinks lean heavily on Eastern staples like matcha, ube and boba, but folks can still find those Western go-tos like Americanos, cold brews and loose leaf teas.

Signature dish: Nutella La Land crepe

Squeeze is a downtown staple, known for offering plenty of ways to get your daily dose of fruits and veggies. From the juice selection to their delicious açaí bowls, to their creamy smoothies, you will leave feeling (cold) pressed to grab something every day once you give their tasty and healthy flavors a try. Can’t miss smoothies include the Green Monsta, the Elvis and the Sunset in Tibet. But if you are more of a toast lover, they go way beyond the basics; try the Choco Loco or the Avo-can-do.

Spice up your meal with authentic Mexican flavors from Servio Garcia and Chef Alex Sáenz. After a well-received stint down the street near Boston University, Taqueria el Barrio has been brought back to life at Time Out Market, delighting area foodies who grew accustomed to fine flour tortillas made in-house, gourmet nachos, glorious quesadillas and addictive tacos, filled with savory, flavorful, lovingly-prepared meats—good luck choosing between asada, pastor, carnitas or birria—or even spicy vegan chorizo. Asian-Inspired Bowls

If you’ve never seen what it’s like to achieve #bowlgoals, look no further than InChu and its menu of Asian-inspired mashups. What started as a pandemic passion project for Aleks Bakhrakh, InChu has quickly evolved from a ghost kitchen to a pop-up, to the permanent stall you’ll find here at Time Out Market. Marrying fresh ingredients with flavors typical of Far Eastern cuisines, this concept offers a selection of customizable rice bowls and salads that will send your taste buds traveling to Vietnam, Korea, Thailand and Japan. Return often to try new combinations and rack up passport stamps bite by bite.
