The Yuletide season is here – that means Christmas lights and displays are up all across the city, and Christmas markets are back to brighten up our holidays with gifts, food and drink, workshops, and more. Whether you're on a mission to check off your shopping list or simply want to soak up the festive vibes, we've rounded up all the best Christmas markets in Hong Kong this year.

Experience the magic of Christmas with a twist at Stanley Plaza's annual Christmas Market! From December 9 onwards for three consecutive weekends, Chillmas by the Sea is bringing the Australian summer vibes to the Southern Hemisphere, offering a unique celebration filled with festive cheer along the seaside of Stanley. With over 150 speciality stalls, game booths, and photo spots, there's something for everyone. Discover popular brands, Christmas-themed merchandise, artisanal crafts, tantalising cuisine, and a wide array of Australian Christmas gifts. The themed handicraft market in the atmospheric Atrium will also showcase products perfect for holiday souvenirs.

Free shuttle buses will be arranged between Admiralty and Shau Kei Wan to and from Stanley Plaza, as well as shuttle vessels connecting to Aberdeen Pier. Stay updated on transportation arrangements by following Stanley Plaza’s Facebook and Instagram.

The famous White Christmas Street Fair is back! Held across two weekends for the first time ever from November 30 to December 3 and December 8 to 10, the festive fair will take on the theme of Chocoland this year; transforming Tong Chong Street into a mega-size vintage chocolate shop. Highlights include a series of delightful choco attractions and photo spots, choco-inspired treats, shopping booths, carnival games, live performances, and more.

K11 Musea is drenched in opulence this season as the Christmas Village Pop-Up returns to the artistic Sculpture Park (6/F). Featuring 25 booths with over 40 local and international brands available, the market invites visitors to indulge in a little seasonal retail therapy and get their hands on everything from artisanal jewellery to food and drink, lifestyle items, and more.

Support local businesses and shop for hidden gems at the Christmas edition of Discovery Bay Sunday Markets! Organised by Handmade Hong Kong, the market welcomes all shoppers to browse through a wide selection of handmade products and unique, locally-made goods. There are also plenty of eatery options at DB Plaza, along with a gorgeous seaside view to make it a great day out.

China Hong Kong City is organising its very first Christmas car boot market! Held at Dolphin Square atop China Ferry Terminal for four consecutive weekends (December 8-10, 16, 17, 23-26, 30, and 31), the market invites car owners to set up their 'movable stores' in car boots to offer handicrafts goods and preloved items such as clothing, furniture, houseware, toys, and vintage treasures. Additionally, the market will feature food stalls, game booths, a large-scale outdoor snow show (Dec 24, 25, 31; 7pm-9pm), and mini concerts. All that plus Christmas trees, light decorations made from recycled materials, and a gorgeous backdrop of the Victoria Harbour, the market is sure to be filled with festive ambience this holiday.

Get your hands on everything from homemade bites to high-end designer goods at the annual Prestige Fairs for Christmas. Held in the Grand Ballroom of Conrad Hong Kong every year, the fair features over 250 small businesses and artisans from around the world; offering a range of jewellery, fashion pieces, accessories, gourmet food, homewares, children’s products and much more. There’s nothing quite like shopping for others – and for yourself – at a five-star hotel.
