Say Sawasdee to Suvarnabhumi Airport's new terminal SAT-1, its first midfield satellite terminal and the first new terminal since its opening in 2006.

This new stand-alone terminal boasts five floors with a total area of 251,000 square meters. It is connected to the main terminal with automated trains. The new terminal features minimalist design warmed with wood details, intricate Thai installations, and plenty of green plants. It will also be home to Emirates and Qatar lounges.

The opening of this new terminal is expected to help address overcrowding issues, better facilitate visitors, and work towards the goal of welcoming 60 million tourists per year, in addition to the current terminal.
