Her little brother I believe to be as well but in a different way. He like to create and build intricate things but is often over looked because of his lower grades in math an English but he excels with perfect scores in social studies an stem. Back to my daughter who has been officially declared gifted. Her emotions meet her gifts as spoke about when she arrives at school her stomach knots up she either gets sick or she cries everyday. The teachers will tell her no crying unless someone is dying or to get herself together in a rude way which makes matters worse. It is beginning to infuriate me. She already feels awkward enough an faces the challenge of feeling attracted to the same sex as well. I’m scared society today is gonna cause her to shame or hate herself. I’m a mother desperate for help and advice. What did I do?

Help them to use their intellect to develop self-awareness and self-acceptance.” These intense feelings does not mean they are a sign of weakness.
