I want to help my students understand that trying to do their best is what matters most! Sometimes they will fail. But their self worth is not based on successes or failures! I want them to strive to get excited about the journey of learning and of being able to get up and try again no matter what! Never stop growing, learning and trying! Now that’s a great day!

The need to achieve and be the best is a struggle for adults and children alike. We need to help our students understand that success is not a definition of who you are but rather an amazing part of your life that is ever growing and ever changing! Sometimes they will succeed and sometimes they will be “so-so” and sometimes they will flat out fail. Either way, they are loved and capable of getting back up and attempting to do something great again and again!
